"How to Plan a Painting in Watercolour"

11th March - 22nd April 2020 (no 1st April)

A lot of unnecessary pitfalls can be avoided with good planning for a painting and in this course we will look at some easy ways to be creative with planning.  How to create a focal point, and a value sketch as well as format and cropping are some of the things to consider, but there are also others that we already know but can be overlooked in the haste to start to paint!  In easy stages we can look at them all using a variety of subjects.

You will need to bring your sketchbooks or spare paper as well as your watercolour paper to the lessons and also references you may want to paint although I will suggest ideas for each week.

The course is for 6 weeks over a 7 week period as I need to take 1st April off unfortunately.  The cost is £96 for 6 weeks for the whole term or £19 for individual classes and runs for 2 1/2 hours. 10am until 12.30pm Wednesday morning. Tea and coffee and biscuits provided.

Please contact me if you have any questions or queries.
